The #1 Most "Controversial" Legal Drug In Softball

    American Coaching Academy

    Hey Coach,

Last year a team of professional nutrition specialists at the U.S. Olympic Committee went on a mission to separate fact from fiction.

They focused on some of the most important topics in sports nutrition and peak performance.

One drug in particular got a lot of attention...

...It's one that you probably use everyday and that can potentially help your players take their performance to the next level.

What's even better is that it's 100% legal.

    Here are the facts:
-This drug wasn't removed from list of prohibited substances by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) until 2004
-It remains as a regulated substance by the NCAA
-It is the most widely accepted and commonly used drug in the world
-It can improve reaction time, concentration, and energy levels
-It can also delay feelings of fatigue, and increase oxygen uptake
-Side effects can include increased anxiety, overstimulation, and an elevated resting heart rate

If you can find a way to get the benefits from this drug, without the side effects, it can be very useful and effective in providing an edge to your players and team.

If you haven't figured out what this (the #1 most "controversial" legal drug in Softball) is, then I'll tell you now...

    It's CAFFEINE!

Remember that each athlete will respond differently to caffeine and some may feel more side effects while others may reap more of the benefits.

Although it can be complicated in determing a strategy for caffeine use among your athletes, it can be done.

And, if you want to stand out and help your team rise above their competition then nutrition cannot be ignored.

To get more important nutritional facts, and how to use them with your athletes, get a copy of our Nutrition Report today!

    Stand out, Ben Baker
